I was supposed to post this article last week, but due to the sad events that hit Lebanon and Paris, I couldn’t but sympathize with everyone who was traumatized by these terrorist acts.
My thoughts and prayers are still with Paris and Lebanon, yet we cannot let this act of terrorism bring us down and swipe the smile off our faces.
Therefore, here I am, sharing with you our big day’s pictures, the religious ceremony.
8:00 am. I woke up thinking that today is the day “It’s a new day, it’s a new dawn, it’s a new life.. and am feeling good.” The first thing that crossed my mind was checking the venue, making sure that everything that’s on my list was perfectly done.
But this couldn’t be done without the love and support of my beloved husband Thomas and all of our friends and family.
11:30 am. time for my hair appointment. I chose a simple pull up hairstyle in order to accentuate the dress’ details. As for my makeup, I did it myself. I actually took a brief course for bridal makeup with M.A.C team in Paris where they taught me how to do the best facial makeup.
16:00 pm. Time flew, and in a blink of an eye I saw myself standing in front of the church holding my dad’s hand. As the doors were opened, I walked down the aisle and it was the beginning of Luet’s fairytale.
Standing there, hand in hand with Thomas, we couldn’t hold ourselves anymore and suddenly there were tears of joy. We are united forever. My wish came true.
The religious ceremony was followed by a “Great Gatsby” themed dinner, where we celebrated this beautiful event with family and friends, and partied till dawn.
This was the first day of the rest of our life! Enjoy the pictures, and there will be more on the Luet’s adventures.
