One of the summer’s top trends is here to stay! At least for the next season.
This summer all fashion lovers had at least one off-the-shoulder top or dress, or both!
While we will continue seeing this type during winter, another one is coming strong: The one shoulder!
Seen on the fall/winter 2016 runways, this trend is perfect for women with square shoulders. While the “Bardot neckline” accentuate this type of shoulders, the one shoulder gives the illusion of a less angular shape.
Finally, the third type of bare shoulders, is what we call the “Cold Shoulder!” Perfect for the winter since it covers more, and it is the best choice if you don’t like showing a lot of skin.
Off-the-shoulder and work
When it comes to dressing for work, it all depends on the work environment and dress code.
if you work in professions like business, law, finance, banking… try and keep your bare shoulders to the weekend and opt for a more professional dress code.
But, there is many professions that are more on the fashion side, like photography, entertainment, fashion obviously, event planning, etc… in these professions you can feel free to add a less professional touch to your outfit without the fear of being misinterpreted.
