A new week have started, and I am ready for it after a crazy weekend spent in Granville-France where we were busy organizing our wedding. I love going to Granville, there is something magical about this place where I can relax and enjoy some quality time with my love and his family.

So, during this weekend we were able to make a lot of decisions related to the wedding, from the date to the dinner venue, the cocktail, the decoration… and I can’t believe how close we are getting to the big day.

But between the meetings we were able to enjoy a sunny Saturday morning at Musée Christian Dior.

If you know the Normandy then you know that sunny days are rare, so I took advantage of this beautiful day to wear my EcakByEdith cape. Its color and texture are perfect for a hot day and what I love about it is that you can wear it with anything to have different looks. Here I was wearing white pants from Massimo Dutti and my new Stuart Weitzman heels.

The museum was actually the childhood home of the famous couturier Christian Dior where he lived between 1905 and 1929.

It is really hard to describe villa “Les Rhumbs”, the beautiful pink house is full of inspiration and it is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a view on the beach.

During July and August you can enjoy a cup of tea “à la Christian Dior” in the heart of the garden with an amazing view at the Channel Islands.

During my visit I was able to discover the first collection of Christian Dior that he launched on 12 February 1947 that marked the beginning of the BAR suit, a revolution in the fashion world. IMG_0958
